City of Gold Coast has BBQ facilities in parks throughout the region, from beachside locations to hinterland reserves.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Gold Coast?

<p>During <strong>Local Fire Bans</strong> in Queensland:</p><ul><li><strong>Gas and electric BBQs</strong> are permitted</li><li><strong>Charcoal, wood-fired and heat bead BBQs</strong> are prohibited</li></ul><p>Check the <a href="https://www.fire.qld.gov.au/safety-education/using-fire-outdoors/fire-bans-and-restrictions">Queensland Fire Department website</a> for current fire bans.</p>

Can I book a BBQ facility for exclusive use?

<p>You can book a park for social gatherings or private functions with <strong>more than 50 people</strong>.</p><p>BBQ spaces at Broadwater Parklands can be booked for private gatherings.</p><p>Submit a booking request through the Council website for weddings or larger private gatherings.</p>

How do I report a fault or issue with a BBQ facility?

<p>Report park and BBQ issues online via the "Report a problem - City parks and beaches" page.</p><p>This covers anything that needs repairing, refilling, mowing, cleaning or tidying.</p>
